Leaves Overview

The Leaves page manages all absences for your team: annual leave, sick days, training, and more.

Creating a leave entry

  1. Go to Leaves
  2. Click Add leave
  3. Select the staff member, leave type, and date range
  4. Optionally add notes
  5. Save

Approved leave is immediately reflected on the schedule — affected days show a leave indicator on the staff member's chip.

Status

Leaves can be Pending, Approved, or Rejected. When HR mode is enabled, staff submit requests that go to Pending and require approval. When HR mode is off, all leaves created by editors are automatically approved.

Leave on the schedule

Staff on leave appear with a leave icon on the schedule grid. The AI engine will not assign them to shifts on those days.
